Event description As we return to face to face meetings we will consider the possible need for a blended approach, how this will work with governing boards and consider the options of what governing board meetings could look like going forward:

  • Return to full face to face

  • Some meetings face to face and some online

  • All online

  • Face to face and online combined in the same meeting and the technology and expertise required to make this work

We will consider how the meetings will meet the needs of the school and governors to carry out their monitoring duties and also how the meetings will be effectively clerked and chaired.

A chance to share best practice and ideas with each other.

This session will be run by Michelle Waters, Ealing’s School improvement and governance officer who leads on clerking support and is herself a local governing board member and clerk.
